AfC is not a queue[edit]

If not clear, AfC's backlog is not a queue. Reviewers look at the list and select what they want to review next. I know it is frustrating. The risk for moving a draft to mainspace is that a new article reviewer may decide to start an Articles for Deletion. I advise waiting on AfC. If, in time, you have a string of successes without any of them being declined, then you may decide that you are competent enough to send your new efforts direct to mainspace. I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}} tag from Viking Youth Power Hour, which you proposed for deletion, because its deletion has previously been contested or viewed as controversial. Proposed deletion is not for controversial deletions. For this reason, proposed deletion is disallowed on articles that have previously been de-prodded, even by the page's creator, or which have previously been listed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{proposed deletion}} template back to the article, but feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Jaret Goes To The Movies[edit]

Can we please discuss in further why our podcast wiki page was deleted. We are traveling and was unable to edit the page until we returned home. Please email us at jaretgoestothemovies@gmail.com to resolve this page deletion — Preceding unsigned comment added by SilentSean316 (talkcontribs) 02:18, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello SilentSean316, would you mind discussing it here on my talk page where we can use wikilinks and the discussion is in a space with guidelines and rules on WP:EQ. My main concern with the article was that it did not meet the requirements of WP:GNG. If you're able to provide two or three independent and reliable secondary sources that have more than a trivial mention of the podcast I'd be happy to look into restoring the article for you. For instance, an article by a well known news source such as BBC, CBC, or NYT. Similarly, any published book (you can search Google Books) or journal such as JSTOR. If the podcast is mentioned in a physical newspaper you could have someone check newspapers.com for you. Even one good reference could make the topic notable, but it'd have to be a longer reference from a reputable source. If the podcast has won any awards you could claim the subject is notable according to WP:WEBCRIT. TipsyElephant (talk) 11:37, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello - We had an article written up by the Dallas Morning Newspaper a few years back, here is a link to it Dallas Morning News. We normally do not get much attention via news outlets even though our host is a Grammy nominated musician. Please let me know if there is anything else we can provide, proving the validity of our podcast.
@SilentSean316: As far as I'm aware the notability of hosts or guests on a podcast don't determine the notability of the podcast itself. For instance, the President of the U.S. could have a podcast, but if there is no news coverage of the podcast as an independent subject then the podcast isn't notable by virtue of association. Similarly, the host of the podcast being nominated for an award in a different subject does not make the podcast notable. If you could provide at least one more nontrivial source or an award won by the podcast than I might be convinced of the podcast's notability. The source you've already provided is decent, but WP:THREESOURCES is generally expected to demonstrate notability.
As noted at WP:N, just because an article meets one of the two requirements of notability "This is not a guarantee that a topic will necessarily be handled as a separate, stand-alone page. Editors may use their discretion to merge or group two or more related topics into a single article." I would recommend using the source you've provided to create a section dedicated to the podcast on the host's page rather than creating a stand-alone article. I think that would be much more reasonable if you are only able to provide a single source. TipsyElephant (talk) 14:12, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@TipsyElephant ok so essentially we just lose our wiki page because we have no printed news coverage on us?

@SilentSean316: Do you have non-printed coverage or non-news coverage of the podcast such as a well known website that isn't a news agency or a video/audio interview on a well known tv channel or documentary? These could potentially be used to demonstrate notability, but they would need to meet the guidelines of being independent of the subject and they must be WP:RELIABLE. I would like to note that editors do not WP:OWN a wiki page and that Wikipedia is not a means of WP:PROMOTION and it's WP:NOTSOCIALNETWORK. If "we just lose our wiki page" means that you are directly connected to the subject of the article I would recommend reading WP:COI. You could request that the article be WP:UNDELETE, but given the lack of sources it would likely be deleted after an WP:AfD. TipsyElephant (talk) 16:28, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@TipsyElephant we do not have any coverage on any news site aside from the one i sent prior, we are not on a tv channel or documentary. we do host a live podcast occasionally from a local venue in Dallas where we fly in guests from a movie that we review and has a Q&A with them while we watch the film. We do not use Wiki for socials, we do not even have a link anywhere on our current socials that direct people to our wiki page. We mainly kept the page active for a record of previous episode with our famous guests. I guess I have no further proof to keep our notability

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}} tag from Cathi Bond, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think this article should be deleted, please do not add {{proposed deletion}} back to the page. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks!

Since my reason for deprodding is that I found coverage of her book (two reviews that meet WP:BOOKCRIT) I am open to the idea that it's really just the book which is notable, and the information on Bond should be moved to an article about the book. But I prefer an article on Bond because I think it's more likely that a Bond article could improve over time. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 02:30, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello LEvalyn, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'll keep the WP:BOOKCRIT criteria in mind for future AfDs. Sorry I opened an AfD for Cathi Bond, I thought the G&M article was not independent but I should have checked more thoroughly before opening an AfD. Although, opening an AfD appears to have gotten the article enough attention from other editors that it has gained sources from more difficult to obtain sources. I'm guessing the article will be kept based on the new finds and then the article should be safe from deletion based on WP:NOTTEMPORARY. TipsyElephant (talk) 13:06, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello TipsyElephant, no worries about the AfD. I think NBOOK is unusual among the special notability guidelines for being so clear cut: if a book has two book reviews, it’s notable. It’s a pretty low bar but you’d be surprised how many articles get made and deleted about books that can’t meet it. Importantly, Bond herself isn’t notable under NBOOK —- I wasn’t sure myself whether it would make more sense to have an article on Bond or just one on the book. I think it was helpful to have some more eyes on it and some more work on the article itself. And since most of the sources were in ProQuest, which requires a subscription, it makes sense that your WP:BEFORE didn’t turn up much. That’s a long way of saying no hard feelings, thanks for doing your bit to make Wikipedia better. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 09:16, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, TipsyElephant. I've seen a few PRODs, AfDs, and RMs on the Podcast alerts page, and thought I'd drop a line. This section seemed somewhat relevant, so I'll add here. While WP:GNG is the overall guideline to use, I wanted to point out that there are several WP:SNG (specific notability guidelines) as well. I'm not sure if you were aware of those. Podcasts fall under WP:NWEB, I guess, but more importantly, WP:BLP articles fall under WP:NBIO and its several sections. You'll probably most frequently see WP:CREATIVE. Sometimes people don't even have much content, just their body of work (e.g. Ryōhei Arai, which I once nominated). Also, some of the radio shows/programs that double as podcasts likely fall under WP:NMEDIA at WP:RPRGM evaluations... though NMEDIA is a tricky one—it's important because media outlets often don't cover other competing media, but it's a "probably notable" recommendation. Just wanted to drop this in case you didn't know about those other guides. Keep up the good work! -2pou (talk) 18:11, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@2pou: I was vaguely aware of some of them, but I've noticed most of them seem to still rely on having at least a couple sources that cover the topic in some detail. So I've been unsure when these even apply. For instance, the WP:WEBCRIT in the context of articles with very little or no coverage in reliable and independent sources (i.e. The Signal (podcast)). There are some borderline cases I've come across where there are a few sources that might barely meet the minimum expectations of WP:100WORDS, but the article has an award. PRODs[edit]

Hello, TipsyElephant,

I've been looking over some articles you PROD'd and I just wanted to remind you of two things:

  • a) WP:THREESOURCES is an editor essay, not Wikipedia policy or guidelines so you shouldn't have expectations that all articles should abide by principles laid out in an essay
  • b) Please check to see if the article is a stub article. The expectations are different and stubs don't necessarily have the level of sourcing that regular articles are required to have.

Thank you for your work. Liz Read! Talk! 17:34, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Liz: hello! I'm aware it's an essay, but WP:GNG states that "multiple sources are generally expected." I was just using WP:THREESOURCES as a rule of thumb. Generally I wouldn't consider an article to have significant coverage or WP:SUSTAINED coverage if there is only a single source with very little prose dedicated to the topic. I've noticed a few people have immediately responded to my PRODs or AfDs by pointing out that this is an essay so in the future I'll make sure to simply quote WP:GNG. Would you mind pointing me toward policies concerning the expectations of a stub? I see WP:NOPAGE and WP:STUB, but the these both seem to come to the conclusion that if a stub can't be expanded it should be merged or deleted. For instance, WP:STUB states that "If a stub has little verifiable information, or if its subject has no apparent notability, it may be deleted or be merged into another relevant article." I also went ahead and removed my references to essays in any AfDs I currently have open and replaced them with quotes or paraphrasing of WP:GNG. I'll go through the PRODs as well. TipsyElephant (talk) 18:15, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, I post a lot of these messages on editor talk pages and you have really taken my comments to heart. That doesn't always happen. I read over WP:STUB before posting this message, hoping to find a passage I could quote to you in my comments but, you're right, it's vague and unspecific. I don't know of any pertinent policy pages that are more helpful in answering your questions.
To put my comments in more context, I was responding to seeing you do some PRODs (which is just fine) and looking at one in particular, Robynn McCarthy, that was just a stub although it had more content than a typical stub does. But I did delete the page and my words were meant to be more in the line of "In the future, could you please...." rather than imply that there was anything wrong with your work. You clearly have read up on policy matters and I appreciate your responsiveness to my comments. Liz Read! Talk! 04:38, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Liz: you're welcome! I'm sorry more people aren't responsive; I try to follow the guidelines and policies so I don't end up in a situation where I get burned. To clarify, are you suggesting that I open AfDs for articles that are larger than a stub because the deletion is more likely to be controversial (especially if I base my reasoning on an essay)? I haven't previously considered the size of the article before opening a PROD because I was mostly going based on the available sourcing, but I could definitely see how a longer article would be more controversial. I'm working on cleaning up the WP:PODCASTING WikiProject and I've been going through the pile of less notable articles to verify notability so I'll keep that in mind for future deletions. @Tautomers: dang, that's discouraging. They seem pretty stuborn about the whole thing to the point of absurdity. They've been showing up in AfDs and always cites the same SNG to justify keeping the article so it's kind of strange that they're unwilling to simply link to that guideline in the PROD rather than waiting to do so in an AfD. I'll watch out for any further deprodding, espcially if I PROD any more BBC content. TipsyElephant (talk) 02:26, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Responses on Trash Taste AfD[edit]

Would you stop being a jerk. There is no reason for you to act that way unless you are pushing the person to remove their response in the AfD and it is pissing me off now. It is fine to respond, but then you discredit the person because they have a strike against them on something else and then you add the assumption the person is suggesting I own the article. I do not like the fact you pushed this article up for deletion, but you should not be acting this way either by discrediting others and making assumptions. --WashuOtaku (talk) 12:32, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry the deletion process is making you angry. However, I'm not insulting you or the other editor and I'm very clearly citing Wikipedia guidelines. If you would like to keep the page you will need to demonstrate that it meets Wikipedia's WP:N guidelines. As far as my comment concerning the other editor WP:DISCUSSAFD explicitly says that "Unregistered or new users are welcome to contribute to the discussion, but their recommendations may be discounted if they seem to be made in bad faith (for example, if they misrepresent their reasons)." Similarly, WP:NPA seems to indicate that personal attacks are more along the lines of insulting someone based on their identity or beliefs while also stating that "discussion of a user's conduct or history is not in itself a personal attack when done in the appropriate forum for such discussion." Granted, I'm not sure if the AfD was the appropriate forum or not, but it seems relevant to an AfD if someone is canvassing for that AfD. TipsyElephant (talk) 13:01, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It appears to be related to an earlier AfD the user is involved in, not this one. Obviously this conversation is not relevant to the AfD, thus your talk page, but it needs to be said that you should not be discrediting others in the discussion, just because you believe their opinion is valued less for being unregistered, new user, or other. --WashuOtaku (talk) 13:22, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Linkspam[edit]

Whatever the intention, pasting that template for using reviews from Podcast Review as a reference on various talkpages comes off as source soliciting per WP:Linkspam. Please edit the actual articles with relevant information rather than tagging 50+ articles with the same website on the talkpages.  oncamera  (talk page) 18:02, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Oncamera: sorry about that. I didn't realize that would be an issue or that there was a guideline prohibiting it. I had recently come across the website and asked about the reliability at WP:RSN, which seemed to indicate it was an okay source. I was mostly just happy to finally find a useful source for podcasts, but noticed that it doesn't show up in Google News searches and has rarely been cited by articles about podcasts. I thought it would be helpful to provide links to relevant reviews on talk pages as a reference idea. I'll refrain from adding anymore. TipsyElephant (talk) 18:37, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Chad Taylor (drummer)[edit]

I appreciate your considering the article i created for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Chad_Taylor_(drummer). re WP:NMUSIC I don't really see how you can dismiss allaboutjazz.com as a a legit ref. It is certainly not a self promotional website. There is an editor and journalists (many are in the JJA) are hired to review and preview albums, projects , artists etc. Chad's work as a leader/drummer cites include the chicago reader and an interview about his trio on NPR. I will continue to seek more refs like the chicago reader. But if you took into account the AAJ articles would the piece meet wiki's requirements? Those both along with the other cites seem enough to prove notability. Re WP:INHERIT doesn't his lineage as a Chicago artist performing with a master like fred anderson confirm that? While I agree most of his work is in collaborative ensembles, he is also a leader in his own right. Thanks! Mistephake (talk) 15:58, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Mistephake: sorry for declining the draft. I know that can suck. So my main concern was that most of the articles you cite barely mention Chad Taylor and definitely don't provide useful information for writing a biography. The interviews are fine, but they don't help demonstrate notability because they are primary sources--they come directly from Chad Taylor. To demonstrate notability you need secondary sources. As far as inheriting notability goes, it doesn't matter if Chad Taylor played music with Miles Davis or John Coltrane it does not make Chad Taylor notable. The president of the United States is notable because there is a significant amount of news coverage about the president. If the president was in a band or hosted a podcast it would not make the band or podcast notable. You still need significant coverage of the band or podcast in reliable secondary sources. The band or podcast very well could be notable, but not because the president is in the band or hosting the podcast.
The reason I was hesitant about the All About Jazz sources was because it appears that anyone can join the staff and write articles. For all I know Chad Taylor wrote those reviews under a different name (probably not, but it's possible). I also have no idea whether the title "editor" on the staff page even means anything, especially when one of the editor's profile pictures is a plastic pair of glasses and nose disguise and the site owner's title is the "Publisher Guy". The authors of the All About Jazz are worth looking into as well. For instance, Jakob Baekgaard does not have any staff title (other than "reviewer") and has only written two articles, both of which are on Chad Taylor. Mark F. Turner has only written a single review and, again, only holds the title of "reviewer" and doesn't have a real profile picture. John Sharpe and Mark Corroto are listed as "Contributing Writers", which WP:RSP and WP:RSN regularly mention as a redflag (i.e. WP:FORBESCON and WP:WHATCULTURE among many others). I'm not super familiar with the process at RSP/RSN and AAJ is not listed at either one so maybe opening a discussion there about the site's reliability might result in different opinions on the reliability.
If the All About Jazz sources were deemed reliable and the Jazz Times article contained some good content I would accept the draft. I was unable to read the Jazz Times source because it's paywalled. If it's a really in depth source about Chad Taylor I might consider accepting the draft based on the minimum expectation of two reliable secondary sources dedicating more than a trivial mention to the subject. Does the Jazz Times article dedicate at least 100 words of non-repetitive content to Chad Taylor specifically? TipsyElephant (talk) 19:29, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your considerate and informative response. I must admit the wiki requirements are a lot to take in and I still have much to learn. I also cant access that jazztimes article in full but looking at the intro i dont think it's going to be enough to get him accepted. Meanwhile i did find a new source re Chad Taylor trio (cite 22) and a downbeat review of that album. Your right in that he doesn't have many secondary sources to support this article. I'll keep working on it. Mistephake (talk) 20:24, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Does it help our case that he already has an article here? https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chad_Taylor_(Schlagzeuger) Mistephake (talk) 20:37, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have added what i believe is the necessary citation referencing moderndrummer. it is a feature article on taylor. I also added a cite from the village voice that focuses on taylor's work as a leader. I hope these and any other improvements i've made help support the article to qualify for approval in my resubmission. Mistephake (talk) 16:05, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've worked on reducing the un cited refs and reformatted any of the correlating subjects. for ex most of his early life is covered in one article.Mistephake (talk) 15:30, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@S0091: thanks for accepting the draft! I know AFC is really backed up and I appreciate the time taken to evaluate the article. I nominated it for the WP:PODCASTING WikiProject's collaboration of the month and I was pleasantly suprised to see that multiple other users were interested in helping, which has been a rare occurance since the inception of the project. I was also happy to see multiple new articles published on the subject within the past year or so, which helped significantly in demonstrating notability. Willis Tower Lunchbox Entrance[edit]

I dont understand what it is i need to do for the willis tower page. i have sites that arent deticated to that subject and references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChiserYT (talkcontribs) 15:25, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello ChiserYT, I'm sorry your draft was declined. My main concern is that the entrance itself is not independently notable. For instance, Willis Tower is notable because it has had news coverage in the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Sun-Times, and BBC News among others. To pass the notability requirements outlined at WP:GNG you'll need multiple sources that specifically talk about the Lunchbox Entrance in some detail. For example, if you can find some sources that dedicate multiple paragraphs of information specifically to the Lunchbox Entrance then perhaps the draft can be published. Right now you've cited a WP:BLOG and an article that doesn't even mention the Lunchbox Entrance. The only source that contributes to notability right now is the first article from Curbed Chicago, which is not enough for a stand-alone Wikipedia page. If you have further questions let me know or ask at the WP:TEAHOUSE. TipsyElephant (talk) 16:37, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Gary Nicolas Nader Article[edit]

I have updated the Gary Nader article as best I could based on the feedback from you and other editors. Before I resubmit, I need to take care of some disclosures. As far as I understand, I can make disclosures on this page? Or am I supposed to make disclosures elsewhere? --GaryNNader (talk) 03:34, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello GaryNNader, it looks like WP:DISCLOSE addresses this particular question. I would suggest disclosing any conflict of interest on your user page, which you can find here. For example, my user page includes a list of previous employers at the bottom. I would also suggest disclosing any conflict of interest on the talk page of the article in question, which would be here. TipsyElephant (talk) 16:14, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@TipsyElephant: (talk) 20240525023032

Hello TipsyElephant, thank you for providing the link and clear direction. I find myself getting lost in a regular basis and I travel down the rabbit holes trying to figure out the next step. I have added disclosures in both places as recommended, and plan to resubmit the article for review (after many corrections). I look forward to any other recommendations/corrections.

--GaryNNader (talk) 16:58, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@GaryNNader: before resubmitting make sure to remove any external links to other websites from the body of the article (I see at least two). If you want to read up on the guidelines concerning external links read Wikipedia:External links. TipsyElephant (talk) 17:35, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You can leave the external links in the publication list though, and if you want more details on how to format those you can read WP:WORKS. I'll go through and correct those though so you don't have to worry about them. TipsyElephant (talk) 18:11, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@GaryNNader: actually, I'm having trouble finding ISBN or OCLC numbers or even Google Books, Internet Archive, or Gutenberg Project links for Latin American Masters and Marc Chagall. Can you find anything on those? TipsyElephant (talk) 19:24, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@TipsyElephant: (talk) 20240525023032: Hello TipsyElephant, Thank you for formatting the list of publications on this article, that was very helpful. I researched and found even more publications, and put together a full list along with all the OCLC links to match the formmatting. However, I think I might have messed up attributions to you because I copy/pasted the entire revised list over the existing list in the draft. Would it have been better to insert the missing publications between the existing edits, rather than copy over the whole list? I tried to go back, but I had already saved the edit by the time I realized my mistake. If it was an error, is there a way to fix it? Glassdaughter (talk) 18:08, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Glassdaughter that's okay. I would focus more on trying to demonstrate that Draft:Gary Nicolas Nader is notable by Wikipedia's standards. I would recommend reading WP:N for standard notability guidelines and WP:BIO for notability guidelines specific to biographies. If you're unable to provide sources with in-depth coverage about Gary Nader then your article will not get published to mainspace. I would also recommend reading WP:RS because you don't want to just add WP:BLOGS or WP:TRIVIALMENTIONS of Nader. TipsyElephant (talk) 18:46, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@TipsyElephant: (talk) 20240525023032: Thanks for the advice. I have edited the first section of the GaryNNader article to highlight aspects of him and his work that might be considered notable, along with citations. Could you review and advise if the article should be resubmitted at this point? I appreciate your input. Glassdaughter (talk) 22:14, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Glassdaughter: I would suggest removing the CV and the external link that is in the body of the article. I would also look for better sources. Most of what you've got are either not WP:RELIABLE or they are only WP:TRIVIALMENTIONS. It's possible that Nader simply does not qualify for a Wikipedia article based on WP:BIO. If you can't find better sources I can take a look on newspapers.com and see if I find anything. TipsyElephant (talk) 22:39, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@TipsyElephant: I haven't been able to find anything better than what I've listed. I read WP:TRIVIALMENTIONS, I'm not sure I understand where a trivial mention ends and an acceptable mention starts. The example in the policy is rather short, like a sentence. I have at least two articles that are minimally a page long. When is a citation considered in-depth? Everything I have provided in the article is, I believe, not original research and a lot longer than the example given in the policy, including the full article by an art professor from a university who is very qualified to cover the topic. Is it the number of articles that is wanting? All my confusion aside, if you could check newspapers.com for something more substantial, that would be amazing! Thanks in advance. Glassdaughter (talk) 05:28, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Glassdaughter: I added the sources to the draft's talk page. I found quite a few from the Miami Herald. Based on the Newspapers sources and what's already in the article I would bet that Nader passes WP:BIO. TipsyElephant (talk) 17:28, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@TipsyElephant: That's amazing! Thanks so much, that really made my day. I have resubmitted the article now after working in some of the citations you found. Glassdaughter (talk) 01:49, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@TipsyElephant: Thanks for all your work and help in getting the GaryNNader article up to snuff. I guess there isn't anything I can do at this point to do any further cleanup to resolve the remaining warning message, despite having submitted a disclosure. But there is something I can do, please let me know. Thanks again! Glassdaughter (talk) 00:18, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@TipsyElephant: I mentioned the Gary Nader article to a friend of mine, and she read it, and pointed out to me the Controversies section as potentially defamatory. I think she may have deleted it, but it seems to still be there anyway. However, now that I re-read that part of the article, I don't recall labeling the section "Controversies" and to me, it does seem a bit of a misnomer (how is a theft a controversy?). The other sentence is about a legal dispute that ended up being in Gary Nader's favor (Miami Dade College ordered to pay Nader's legal fees). Again, not sure how that would be construed as a controversy. Am I missing something about controversies as a section label in Wikipedia? I couldn't find anything about that specifically. I didn't want to adjust the section title incorrectly. Thanks in advance for your input. Glassdaughter (talk) 23:30, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Glassdaughter sorry about that. Feel free to change the section heading. I just couldn't think of a commonly used heading for an instance of theft and a legal case, but both pertained to legality so I figured they could be grouped together well. I would suggest reading up on WP:MOS for more information on this topic. To be honest, I'm more familiar with policies regarding the creation and deletion of articles and I have yet to dive into the process of turning a new article into a WP:GA. @TipsyElephant: No worries, I separated the theft and legal case (which also makes sense to do considering they happened years apart) and labeled the theft part as "Heist" which is usually used when art institutions are robbed, and "Legal" for the case Nader won. I also added a few more details to round out what happened (based on the cited sources). LMK if you have any other suggestions on the headings, thanks again.
