NPOV[edit]

Doing NPOV cleanup work. It is inappropriate to tag an article without a post to the discussion page saying why it is tagged, and any specifics as to what can be done to improve the article. This also permits discussion and resolution between interested parties. This is drive-by tagging, and I'm removing it. And comments can be left here or on my talk page. Are you kidding? This is one of the most POV "articles" I've seen. Furthermore, it contains not a single reference. The paragraph regarding the unquestioned superiority of American breeds is ridiculously POV. Cernansky (talk) 21:08, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And seven years later there's still "U.S. pit bull crosses may be the finest pig dogs in the world, while American-bred bird dogs are far superior to any terrier. Experienced raccoon and squirrel hunters were not about to give up their Treeing Walker Coonhounds or Mountain Feist to embrace a new breed of dog that most people could not even pronounce." 212.248.42.90 (talk) 12:52, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I don't really get involved in dog breed articles anymore, but that was so NPOV that I had to remove it straight away. Crazy that it's sat in the article uncited for so long. Miyagawa (talk) 17:42, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
