Russian Empire[edit]

"All these countries (or their parts) were part of the Russian Empire" - it's a political/historical classification, what does it have in common with the East European Plain (geographical entity)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Montessquieu (talkcontribs) 11:52, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect datas![edit]

Baltics excluded?[edit]

Are there any sources that actually exclude the Baltics? Certainly there are some sources that exclude Poland's eastern section, but I have not been able to find anything excluding the Baltics.--Pharos (talk) 12:37, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Best map to use? Comment[edit]

I see that the previous topographic map had been removed. Apart from being in German and this is English Wikipedia, I'm not sure what was wrong with it. It seemed to match the Encyclopedia Britannica description (first reference), and showed useful subdivisions of the geographic sub-regions. At any rate, leaving only the floristic regions map seemed to miss the geographic intent. Does anyone know of a source map that uses a geological or geographical definition?
