Got voted on place 3[edit]

This is an article about a European politician; supposedly (this is the English Wiki after all) we are meant to understand such phrases as "she got voted on place 3 of the group of nominated candidates" (even candidates was spelled wrong). What does this phrase mean? I think it may be deleted as nonsense or weasel words because nobody can possibly know what is meant by such a phrase. People keep telling me that foreigners are better at English than the English are; well, I am here to dispute any such claim. By the way, "got" is a terrible word used only by those who are too lazy to pick up a book. Jodosma (talk) 19:19, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
