Information icon Hello, I'm Joshua Jonathan. I noticed that you made a comment on the page User talk:Joshua Jonathan that didn't seem very civil. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Accusations like this are personal attacks; don't. My reply: Hey Jonathan, I did not post a personal attack. I even gave you the benefit of the doubt :) I only asked you to give proper arguments or a detailed source when letting malicious attacks on Indian scholars fly on their wikipedia profiles. If you can't do that, then it would appear to any person that you might be attacking them on racial grounds. Hope you understand! Thanks. ThreeCheers321 (talk) 01:41, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You literally just denied a WP:PA (calling an editor a racist) and made another WP:PA in the same comment. Accusations of racism with no evidence to support it are considered personal attacks. But that's not what I even came here for. You need to stop edit warring at Subhash Kak and take your concerns about the CITED information you want remvoed to the talkpage of the article per WP:BRD. Also, per this :"please stop this or I'll have to report it to higher users.", my reversion of you and my suggestion you open a discussion at the talkpage with the sources you claim you have was within policy, so feel free to do so. Your post at my talkpage diff:

Please familiarize yourself with Indian scholarly work
Hey Jonathan, it has come to my attention that you're attempting to attack Indian scholars, and when malicious characterizations are removed about these Indians (e.g, Subhash Kak), you're reverting them and letting these insulting remarks stay on their pages without giving any reasoning for why those characterizations are allowed to stay. If this keeps up, you will be reported for being a disruptive user. I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt that you're not being intentionally racist, so please do not continue to do this. :)

Racism or racist intentions when writing information about people or historical/scholarly topics are not allowed in Wikipedia. Thanks for understanding!

The line you object to is:

Scholars have rejected his theories on these topics in entirety, and his writings have been heavily criticized.

You call this:
  • "you're attempting to attack Indian scholars"
  • "malicious characterizations"
  • "insulting remarks"
and call me
  • "a disruptive user"
  • "you're [...] intentionally racist"
  • "Racism or racist intentions"
Yes, that are personal attacks, and strong accusations. Note that you make a link with the nationality of Kak, whereas the criticism is based on scholarly arguments. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 07:52, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Just stop with the aspersions[edit]

Either take any editors to WP:ANI or stop if you don't want to be blocked. Doug Weller talk 13:25, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
