Borovo selo[edit]

Sorry but I will revert you edit in Timeline of Yugoslav breakup. We are trying to write articles in neutral style (sometimes is very hard). Croatian version of events is: Croatian police has tried to rescue two previously captured Croat policemen. Serbian version of events is: Croat policemen has entered town and started to fire. We can agree that Serbian version of events is having few problems, but our serbian friends will ask that we add this version near Croatian version in article.

Timeline of Yugoslav breakup is "short" article which is writing events without comment (or trying) Croatian version must be deleted. About "battle" or better to say killings in Borovo wikipedia is having article Borovo Selo killings.--Rjecina (talk) 20:42, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I understand where you are coming from, but I do not think the manner in which the Croatians entered the village alters the fact they entered to rescue two previously captured policemen. I am ulmost 100 % sure that this is POV site, but it is showing data about new mass graves finding.

About dispute you can read small BBC comment

In the end for wikipedia finding of graves is not important, because all victims will never be discovered. For now we are having court number of suspected victims. In future this number can go down or up, but for now only wikipedia reliable number is given by court. If you are interested about consensus about wikipedia reliable sources you can read talk page of article Yugoslav Wars. Srebrenica[edit]

I have just noticed that a few months ago you were seeking info about Srebrenica. I don't know whether you found what you needed, but I could let you have some useful stuff if you are still interested - specifically the original Srebrenica report by the secretariat responsible for Republika Srpska relations with the ICTY. This was the report that was rejected by Paddy Ashdown, who also demanded (successfully) that the head of the secretariat, Dejan Miletić, and all its staff be sacked and barred from working again in the state sector.

You might also be interested to read the relevant section in "Fool's Crusade" by Diana Johnston (Pluto Press, London).

Both these sources perhaps err by downplaying the crime too much, but nevertheless they collate many pertinent and undeniable facts and provide a welcome antidote to the conventional western/NATO line. Kirker (talk) 00:07, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
