Do you know why the notorious Ararat Arev was permanently banned? Was it for including references to "banned" Armenian authors? Of course not, that isn't why we ban! No, it was for evading blocks with sockpuppets to continue making contentious / accusatory edits while he was supposed to be blocked - thus defeating the purpose of the block in the first place! Moreschi: This is an abusive account? Are there any diffs at all to show this?? You can just put that label on an user and not have to account for it? Just like you can summarily put an editor who has been editing out nationalism on a supervision list for nationalists, with no recourse[3]? Or simply remove objections from an edit-warring checkuser.[4] You have made some of our nationalist editors very happy,[5] and then you complain about them on the Wikipedia:Fringe theories/Noticeboard.

I wish I had that kind of arbitrary power. But, if I did, I would use it differently.
