Greetings[edit]

Hey man, I've seen your recent work on Armenian history and it's pretty good, keep it up. I just wanted to notify you that the new article you created, Mikayel Nalbantian, already exists in Wikipedia under Mikael Nalbandian, so a redirect to that page would be better. Thanks akhper, if you have any questions about Armenian-related content, feel free to contact me or any other WikiProject Armenia member. - Fedayee 16:53, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and thanks for your contributions! Just one thing: some of your addings to Andranik Ozanian article seems to be dubious and I discussed them here. Pls answer there. If you have any questions Ill be gald to answer you at my talk! Thank you. Andranikpasha (talk) 17:09, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reverts[edit]

Hi! I wrote that the info you added is not reliable and sometimes is added by mistake. Pls look at talks! And the photo and info you were added to Medzn Murad is about Murad Sebastatsi, a completely different person, a ARF member killed in Azerbiajan not Turkey later, than Medzn Murad. Pls check the info you're going to add at first! Or see WP:Reliable_sources. Thank you and hope for a responce! Andranikpasha (talk) 15:50, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Armenian notables deported from the Ottoman capital in 1915[edit]

Hi Seemsclose, who exactly was deported from other cities on the list as you mention in general but not clarifiy in detail? From Erzurum, from Konya means someone is Konyatsi, Erzurumtsi but wasn't necessarily born in Konya or Erzurum and the place of birth isn't clear yet. It was the only indication available. - And who was deported in other years on the list, as you left out 1915 now. It simply says: deported on 24 April now. Re: Problems with the Van Resistance[edit]

Hi, no problem. I see what you mean. I think a good step would be instead of replacing the article with your version, would be to try to compromise step by step. A good part to start out would be to propose specifically what you want to change (preferably the most non-controversial changes first), see what the rest of the editors think of them, and if there are no objections, they can be implemented in the article. Khoikhoi 05:09, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

True, editors can work on the sources you bring forward, but they can also work with their own reliable sources as well. If take it you are challenging certain statements in the article? Apparently {{fact}} tags were removed with the last revert. Khoikhoi 05:20, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see. You have a point about the section concerning Iran - what do the other editors think? My main concern is that your version could be a fork of the article. However, I would be more inclined to agree with you if the other editors on the page supported your version. True, it has more sources - but I would first like to hear some feedback from your peers. Khoikhoi 06:24, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. The main reason I protected the page is because things were getting out of hand. Now hopefully editors can all try to come to a consensus on what direction they want the article to go to. BTW, the IPs who have been reverting the article are apparently Hetoum himself. Khoikhoi 06:34, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'll leave a comment on the talk page asking if there are any objections to unprotection. Khoikhoi 18:22, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:April24Victims.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:April24Victims.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
