Shirtlessness[edit]

It is a common fact that Iggy Pop never wore a shirt. Shirts disintegrate even in proximity. This is due to his extreme amount of awesome. Any picture of him with a shirt was edited to make him look like he has a shirt on

Hi. The reason I think redirect is better than delete is that we preserve the history of that article and its talk page. That might not be of value for the encyclopedia, but it is for the administration of the encyclopedia, for example one can show diffs of somebody's contributions, which wouldn't be possible if the article and its talk page are simply deleted. No fault at all, your intention was obvious, you don't need to appologize. I learned these things much later than you do (a year on I was still doing them). Unfortunately, not every editor on WP is friendly and civil. The ability to show differences is very helpful in ensuring such people do not hijack the project. There are also other instances when this ability is useful, for example you don't need to explain too much when you want to make a point but instead give a link to show what you mean. Thanks for reverting the Victoria_of_the_United_Kingdom entry. I was in the middle of showing students at my school how malleable Wikipedia was (and about to revert), and you've kind of proved my point. Thanks for reverting the vandalism on manuareshi. I am sorry for that. In school as I was logged on Wikipedia I had to run an errand for a teacher.
