Pulling the flag in Saigon[edit]

Hi! I have made edits about lowering of flag at Embassy of the United States, Saigon in 1975. The flag near the main gate was lowered for the last time. Later in the article I mention Juan Valdez saying that the "One of the marines lowered the flag (...) and escorted the ambassador up to the landing zone up on top of the embassy, and" gave the ambassador the flag. Are there sources that say more about the flag that Valdez is talking about. (There was a flag at Post One—in the lobby.) The third mention of a flag: A helicopter "arrived to evacuate Major Kean and the 10 remaining men of the Marine Security Guards. Marines lowered the US flag, and the last marines departed by helicopter at 07:53 on 30 April". Does that sentence need clarification: That Marine unit, as most or all do, had a US flag at their headquarters.

Do you think that Major James Kean (Ground Support Force Commander) is deserving of a seperate article on wikipedia? I have seen some mention that he made excellent and notable decisions, in April 1975. I think that he is notable.

Hi, FYI: One person is removing mention about (former Major) Jim Kean, at Marine_Security_Guard. This person says that Jim Kean is not notable. (I think Kean might be notable.)
