Removing revelant information on File:Poundland logo 2024.svg[edit]

Hi, I noticed that Davey2010 told me in his reply that you were the one who removed the revelant information from File:Poundland logo 2024.svg. If you put back the revelant author information, Please do so. Ghursta (talk) 14:09, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ghursta:  Done but in the future, don't be afraid to be bold and do it yourself!Matrix(!) (a good person!)[Citation not needed at all; thank you very much] 14:18, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Orphan files[edit]

Hi! I noticed that you had a suggestion related to orphan files with a keep local but that it did not seem to be supported. However, there seems to be concensus that files with a keep local can be deleted if uploader is no longer active. Example Wikipedia:Files_for_discussion/2024_April_24#File:4-cube_4^4.png. It seems that a PROD may be prefered to a FFD but I do not know if it is in all cases or just if uploader had many files. --MGA73 (talk) 08:13, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting... thanks for taking the time to let me know btw :) —Matrix(!) {user - talk? - uselesscontributions} 05:14, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed you suggested to delete some old maps. If you find any similar maps there is in use then the maps should be okay per c:Template:PD-Demis. Since the files are unused I agree they should just be deleted. --MGA73 (talk) 18:06, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the notice of the tag, I've modified the PRODs with this information. —Matrix(!) {user - talk? - uselesscontributions} 18:36, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

File review[edit]

Hello! Thank you for reviewing the files from the City of Auburn. As the email contained information stating that all images on the site are public domain, would I need to have that permission emailed to VRT each time, or is there some way that a template could be made that indicates that it is from the City of Auburn, and is therefore public domain? Yoblyblob (Talk) :) 01:22, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Yoblyblob: I've gone ahead and created a template on Commons to show the PD situation. I'll transfer the files you've uploaded to Commons when I have time. In the future, please upload freely licensed files to Commons as there they can be used on multiple wikis, and are more accessible. If you want to upload more images from the City of Auburn, please add the template c:Template:PD-Auburn to the permissions section. —Matrix(!) {user - talk? - uselesscontributions} 17:43, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
