Kevin Hart article[edit]

Hi. I see that you may be a new editor, although I have my doubts about that. In any event, you seem to be unaware of the importance of collaborative editing. One aspect of that is that when editors make bold changes, they are willing and active in discussing those changes on the article's talk page. Please come look at Talk:Kevin Hart (poet). You'll find there several concerns that I have, along with a history of disputes that have occurred on this article, and some editing restrictions (which you haven't violated, but should be aware of). Please, I would love for you to respond to my concerns in the last 2 sections that the additions you and those whom I assume are your colleagues are making to the article are making it less neutral and in other ways don't follow Wikipedia's policies. Thanks, Qwyrxian (talk) 23:36, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As a new user to Wikipedia, you may not be familiar with our collaborative editing process. We will not simply accept your claim that a particular critic is "of no note" or "ephemeral." The reviews cited are in what Wikipedia considers reliable sources. If you want to argue that they are do not meet our criteria, you are more than welcome to do so. Please come to the article's talk page and discuss the issue. This is not to say that you can't edit the article--just to say that in order for collaborative writing to work, you have to be willing to discuss changes. Thanks. Also, you may be better off making one or two changes at a time, since this is a contentious article. For instance, I actually think your addition of Bloom in the reception section is good, but it got reverted because another editor needed to revert one of your first edits in that series. I'll probably re-add the Bloom entry myself later today, although I may discuss it first on talk. Qwyrxian (talk) 21:47, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin Hart at BLPN[edit]

As a matter of courtesy, I would like to let you know that I have asked for help regarding the Kevin Hart article at WP:BLPN#Need some advice on Kevin Hart (poet). In my summary of the problems at the article, I raised your name. You are welcome to comment on my request, or, of course, on the article's talk page.
