A tag has been placed on Ashi Kalim requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — InsertCleverPhraseHere 08:36, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Kalimedia123. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Ashi Kalim, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. — InsertCleverPhraseHere 08:36, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

November 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Svetlana Alliluyeva. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 08:11, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Svetlana Alliluyeva shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. zzz (talk) 10:41, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Kalimedia123 (talk) 11:49, 8 November 2017 (UTC) I would like to know the reason of removal the section I have added while it is connected to Svetlana. It is about historical fictional novel based on her life?? Kalimedia123 (talk) 11:49, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There are two clear reasons:
1. You added external links to the body of the article, which is not acceptable and
2. You linked to your own work, which violates the conflict of interest guidelines. If you truly believe that the book has value for the article itself and not just to promote your own work, you are welcome to suggest its inclusion on the article's talk page and then if an editor who does not have your conflict of interest agrees they can add it back, but you should not do so yourself whether you are logged in or not. Melcous (talk) 11:56, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Kalimedia123 (talk) 12:03, 8 November 2017 (UTC) Many thanks for your prompt response. First of all it is not my work. Secondly This novel is based on her life. I have seen too many pages where novel/article/movies are being referenced. e.g. I have referred page of emperor Akbar. I have seen similar kind of section that showcased his life. If it is not connected with person then I could understand it. But it very connected to this page & person. Kalimedia123 (talk) 12:03, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, so if it is not your work, can you please explain your relationship to Ashi Kalim? Thanks, Melcous (talk) 12:20, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Kalimedia123 (talk) 12:28, 8 November 2017 (UTC) I am not Ashi Kalim. It is there any rule as per wikipedia that editor should have to prove relationship?? My point is that if mentioning any work that is based on Ms Svetlana then how could it be not connected with the page. As per your point, person has to show 'no relationship' certificate before adding any novel or work? Kalimedia123 (talk) 12:28, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
