Hello JL 09, this is an automated message from SDPatrolBot to inform you the PROD template you added to List of Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple chapters has been removed. It was removed by Jclemens with the following edit summary '(Decline Prod--proposing a merge of the topic is an implicit contest, even if the tag wasn't removed.)'. Please consider discussing your concerns with Jclemens before pursuing deletion further yourself. If you still think the article should be deleted after communicating with the 'dePRODer,' you may want to send the article to AfD for community discussion. Thank you, SDPatrolBot (talk) 20:15, 5 September 2009 (UTC) (Learn how to opt out of these messages)

Iloilo City's nickname

Hello JL 09, the nickname of Iloilo City: La Muy Leal y Noble Ciudad, was the title honored to Iloilo City by the Spaniards. It can be seen in the official logo/seal of Iloilo City. As like in the article of Manila City, it's nicknames: "Perla del Oriente", "La Insigne y Siempre Leal Ciudad; was written in Spanish. and it's translation in english insde the parenthesis beside it. Please ikaw ba ang nag e-edit kung ilagay ko ang Spanish translation ng palayaw ng lungsod ng Iloilo. Salamat ah! Proposed deletion of H1Z1 zombism hoax

The article H1Z1 zombism hoax has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Sources for this article do not meet WP:RS rules, and there is no notability for this topic established.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DreamGuy (talk) 16:23, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

H1Z1 help

{{helpme}} H1Z1 zombism hoax‎ has been brought to WP:PROD. I've written the article very well at my best and looked for the most "reliable sources". It was really an internet hoax, but no news sources could be provided. It was only discussed in the internet at during 2009 flu pandemic. The hoax was only posted on the internet by a student in Mexico but was deleted afterwards, so it was a short-lived article. How can I fight this thing for being deleted?--JL 09 q?c 16:35, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

A subject - any subject - needs significant coverage in reliable sources, to meet the general notability guidelines. At the moment, the refs are to blogs and suchlike, and (from a quick look), I don't see enough coverage in newspapers and suchlike. This isn't because we don't want an article, please understand - we'd like articles about everything. It's just that, if something doesn't have good coverage in what are generally considered to be 'reliable sources', it is not possible for the reader to check the facts, and verifiability is a core policy.
If you believe that the subject does meet the requirements (ie if you can add sufficient reliable sources to assert notability), then you should make your case on the article talk page, talk:H1Z1 zombism hoax.
Please note that most google hits are not 'reliable sources'.
If you are able to show at least some evidence of notability, the speedy deletion will be declined. The article then may be nominated for a deletion discussion (the WP:AFD procedure), and you could argue the case there.  Chzz  ►  16:46, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Chzz, it's a prod, not a speedy deletion. JL 09, if you disagree with the proposed deletion, you are allowed to remove the {{prod}} tag at any time. But as Chzz suggested, you should show evidence of notability and add more reliable sources to meet the Wikipedia guidelines for articles in case the article is brought to articles for deletion. If you delete the prod tag, you should also explain why disagree with it in the edit summary and/or on the talk page, notify the user who proposed the deletion, and do your best to address the concerns raised. Further instructions for this are at WP:CONTESTED. Also, the {{hangon}} tag is only for objecting to speedy deletions, not prods. You should also remove the hangon tag you added. Please let me know if there are any more questions. Thanks! --Mysdaao talk 16:52, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Mysdaao and Chzz, yes I followed you. It's just happened that it was not published on a news source, but I'll try my best to find at least single online news that will make the article reliable. In the meantime, I'll have to sleep now because it's around 1am here in the Philippines. What if I failed to find a single news soource? Would it mean that the article will be on Afd? Thanks for the help--JL 09 q?c 16:57, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
It will be on Afd if the user who added the prod tag, or any other user, nominates it for deletion, which is more likely if no more reliable sources are added. --Mysdaao talk 21:55, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
I have nominated H1Z1 zombism hoax, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/H1Z1 zombism hoax. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Philippines

Gintong Liwanag Ng Araw already left a message at the talk page but it appears that that other user is unwilling to talk or cooperate. I believe they are a sockpuppet of another editor there who also edit warred in July.--23prootie (talk) 14:25, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Are you feeling alright stalker

Cookie!!!

I'm giving cookies for the people who resolved the dispte at the Philippnes quickly. Thanks!--23prootie (talk) 14:47, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks 23prootie. Now Boxedor is suspected for sockpuppetry. We wish that an admin will fix a conflict on Philippines.--JL 09 q?c 14:48, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Rifqa Bary re-created

FYI, Rifqa Bary has been re-created. See Talk:Rifqa Bary for justification. I am just a messenger, I am neutral in this matter. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 16:47, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Yes. Actually the article is now on my watchlist.--JL 09 q?c 23:01, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

I enumerated the reasons/factors for the edit wars

Thanks for helping me solve the problem! Just go to my talk page to see the reason over the commotion. Many thanks! Gintong Liwanag Ng Araw (talk) 13:49, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Mikey Arroyo

Dear JL Tirao,

Hello, we are relatively new to Wikipedia, and we would appreciate if you help us in maintaining a neutral page for Congressman Juan Miguel "Mikey" Arroyo. We would appreciate if you help us edit defamatory links and such items, and further educate us rather than go on an editing battle with our office. Our office is in charge of policing whatever content that is written about our employer. WE understand that as a student from UP, you can best help us maintain the neutrality of this personality's Wikipedia Article. Hoping for you Compliance

I cannot understand why there are such people combining personal worlds to the world of my own here on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not an advertisement site. If your employer want to add some things that will make their names sound good, you must purchase your own website. Wikipedia is bounded with rules, as you know.--JL 09 q?c 14:30, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Please read WP:SOAP for more details.--JL 09 q?c 14:34, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

I have nominated Philippine College Of Health and Sciences (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) for discussion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. JL 09 q?c 15:35, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

2010 flag suggestion

Hi, JL 09. I couldn't help notice that you don't have a flag yet for the 2010 WikiCup. Might I suggest the Assyria, or Ottowa. But of course, you can pick yours, but I 'm throwing around suggestions. Enjoy! Secret Saturdays (talk to me)

TY Ketsana

I'm working off the advisories from the JMA, you can check yourself, the 75kts and 960mbar are accurate. As for the removal of a transwiki, I'm quite sure I didn't do anything of the sort and if I did, it was an accident. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cyclonebiskit (talkcontribs)

You have to use <ref></ref> if you still want to continue the notion.--JL 09 q?c 16:56, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
It's a minor change that doesn't require immediate referencing because the information is very easy to access and verify via [1] for JMA and [2] for the JTWC. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 16:59, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Re:Ondoy

Actually it has been news that the agriculture damage that done by Tropical Storm Ketsana is now 500,000 thousand pesos. Better look to some news agencies. Otherwise the National Disaster Coordinating Council have updated their damages also.Thanks.Mabuhay tayo...Jpuligan_12 (talk) 02:40, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

If there are news agencies, so to speak, that gave such estimate, then there must be an online source/news version in the internet saying that damage. You know that Wikipedia can be grounds for adding overestimation, that is why references, specifically online references are highly demanded especially to figures (monetary) like that. If you can provide online sources coming from the GMA or ABS-CBN news sites, then please be willing to add it to the article and inserting references. Furthermore, copy-pasting statements on the internet like the one you did in the 2009 Pacific typhoon season, Ketsana section (copy-pasted from every single news source) without proper documentation where you found it/paraphrasing it, is strictly prohibited on Wikipedia.--JL 09 q?c 04:38, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Well ok. I have my source.Jpuligan_12 (talk) 10:55, 29 - September - 2009 (UTC)

As the news just came fresh in, local news are keeping it updated on a hourly basis and the casualties toll will probably rise. So I'm afraid we have to wait as soon as tomorrow for an English source and the exact numbers to come out. --Saigon punkid (talk) 17:50, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

I understand. Maybe I can add some English source if I came across searching about Vietnam toll.--JL 09 q?c 11:09, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
