Hello, based on your message at the help desk and edits, you may be under the impression that Wikipedia is a social networking site. It is not. If you do not intend to contribute to our project, which is an encyclopedia, you may want to look into other sites such as Myspace. Hello again. I am replying to your question on my talk page. I am simply welcoming and assisting you as a new editor to Wikipedia. When I first began here, I received much help and introduction from other users as well. There are a lot of rules to editing on Wikipedia. I saw your queston on Wikipedia:help_desk#I_need_some_help_really_badly and wanted to help you. Enjoy!. Marycontrary 00:30, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits[edit]

Regarding edits like this, this, and this, please do not use Wikipedia for chatting. We are an encyclopedia, not a social networking, debate, or forum site. Talking to other users is fine but in general it should be reserved for discussing changes to articles and so forth. -Wooty Woot? contribs 03:41, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please consider the following[edit]

Before commenting on user talk pages, it is in your best interest to view the policies of Wikipedia as I posted for you earlier. Here are some of the guidelines to consider -
