Linebaugh[edit]

In fact Linebaugh's The London Hanged would be useful (it may have already been used in the article you re correting - if not it should be mentioned) --Jfclegg (talk) 12:51, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much Jfclegg --Elia7491 (talk) 14:44, 25 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User page?[edit]

How come you haven't created a user page, yet? You were supposed to do it at the beginning of the course! --Navarco (talk) 21:34, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I reiterate: where is your user page?--Navarco (talk) 13:03, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Navarco, this is the 3rd time I create my user page but it seems that it deletes itself, I don't know why. Anyway I'm continuing to work on my article. Elia7491 (talk) 09:10, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

McKenzie etc[edit]

Elia - I see you need to catch up quickly- or opt for the traditional l oral exam rather than continuous assessment. In any case, I think you have my copy of Andrea Mckenzie, Tyburn's Martyrs, which other students need. Can you please return by Monday next? --Jfclegg (talk) 22:20, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions[edit]

I see you have made good use of McKenzie. I wonder if you should consider why when Tyburn became the main place of LONDON executions bit that at a certain date (which?) they were moved to Newgate (first outside then inside -why?). Also clarify that it was not the only place of execution. Many were executed at the place where he crime was committed (see Old bailey proceedings) . You might also consòder the deep aspect of spectacularisation of punishment, on which the classic text is Michel Foucault, Sorvegliare et Punire. On this Fielding is interesting. --Jfclegg (talk) 23:04, 23 November 2015 (UTC) Thank you very much --Jfclegg, I try to give a look and see if I can add it to the article.Elia7491 (talk) 14:56, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
