Hey I got my collar number and training dates today, attestation and first training weekend is 7th September, and I'm fully trained up by 2nd December (day before my 20th birthday!) SGGH <supsup> 21:32, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have reply on SGGH's talk page
Yep I saw, thanks for organising the talk page! SGGH speak! 20:01, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think there should be an article on the Police Notebook? It's nost just a notebook cause you use it in court and stuff? I dunno... not trained yet! :D SGGH speak! 16:51, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My reflective one kicks ass, ill wikilink it on the PNB page above and you can come along and help me type it while i go and take a picture? :) SGGH speak! 17:00, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Police Notebook there you go SGGH speak! 17:04, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I added the image, my useful little PNB holder. SGGH speak! 18:55, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Stormed? Eeek. Sounds exciting at least. Good work SGGH speak! 21:00, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah needs references first, the parts about how they hurt people will need good references, because cuffing people and it hurting them is a debated subject. One side says we are inhumane, the other says "who cares?" SGGH speak! 21:33, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, go fight that crime. I'll be out there to help in September. SGGH speak! 21:55, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
"For this reason, it is preferred to only apply them to compliant or subdued prisoners" erm... isn't it the opposite? We cuff those who resist, that sentence makes it sound like we reserve cuffs for compliant old ladies.... SGGH speak! 21:58, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your thanks about the FA :) SGGH speak! 19:25, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

king apparel

hello,

i wonder if you can help. I'm new to all this and just learning. I've been trying to get an entry up for 'king apparel' but it got deleted. I messaged the guy who deleted it and took note of his concerns, re-edited it and then re-posted. It then got tagged for deletion again. So i took note of the new concerns and asked for you guys to wait for me to re-edit and post (30 mins at the most). I went to re-upload the new post and you guys had deleted it again, whilst i was editing!!! If i try and re-post i've been told i'll be banned from editing!! I can't win. Surely you've gotta wait to see what my re-edit looks like before just deleting it straight off the bat?!

can you give me a chance to re-post again, and if i do, can you assure me you'll give me a chance to deal with any concerns before just deleting it again?

your response would be much appreciated

BomberBlitz

The site is a source for journalists nationwide. This was proven when The West Australian and The Age lifted an untrue story regarding Ricky Mott (you can look him up here). It was the first to publish the All-Australian AFL team of 2003. It has a long list of interviews with current and ex-AFL players.

Yes, most of the forum is trivial. It's also the most accurate and best run site on an AFL club in Australia, including pages owned by the AFL and Telstra that have a budget of millions.

As to whether it's advertising...well, I guess so. But it's not like the site needs more members. Of course I'll do as advised with the tag and leave it to your judgement. --Xyzmoonunit 10:54, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Xyzmoonunit 10:53, 7 May 2007 (UTC)—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xyzmoonunit (talk • contribs) 10:52, 7 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Hi there; you recently tagged this foreign language article as nonsense. I do not speak the language used; if you do, and it is nonsense, please let me know. I have for the moment removed your tag and replaced it with a {{notenglish}} one. --Anthony.bradbury 11:10, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No argument. Using the {{notenglish}} tag is the usual approach, on the basis of the WP:BITE policy. Some new editors whose first language is not English sometimes get confused.--Anthony.bradbury 11:41, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, it's not Italian. I thought Romanian or Bulgarian.--Anthony.bradbury 11:42, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oceana military thingy

Positive thinking in your talk page comment! Do you happen to know anything about it? I don't :D SGGH speak! 17:02, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I knew about the American economy thing, but don't know much about Douglas Haig! Lets you and I just stick to policing, and I'll stop pretending I know anything about military history! SGGH speak! 17:11, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could have been worse, you could have signed off with your collar number! How private is that supposed to be anyway? I know mine but havent told many people or mentioned it on the police forum, as I assume its bad to publicise it? SGGH speak! 16:55, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds fair enough. I think two friends of mine know it (but will have forgotten) and my parents (who have forgotten) thanks Dep. SGGH speak! 17:11, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Catalog

The CATALOG page is not an advert. Please would you kindly not put a speedy delete tag on the article because of it being an advert. The page is trying to give information on training schemes to the librarians of the future. There is no need for advertising...? May I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the concept of graduate traineeships in library science within the UK before dismissing it as of no importance? Perhaps then you will appreciate that the article does not at all 'smack' of an advert. 131.111.130.215 15:56, 11 May 2007 (UTC) [reply]

User:Lokyz is stalking the Law enforcement in Lithuania page. It didn't bother me that he thinks it's a bad article, it is just a sentence, but he's just being ridiculously uncivil. Robbskey 01:05, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, as a member of the first aid project, i would value your opinion. I strongly believe that abdominal thrusts does not need it's own article, and should be redirected to choking, where we can have one coherent article on the subject. I think this should be the case because:

  • Abdominal thrusts are only used for choking, and therefore logically sit in that article
  • With how-tos removed from abdominal thrusts, the article is very short, verging on being a stub
  • It avoids people looking either term up having to flick between pages to find the information they require
  • It follows the logic of some other similar changes on the project such as the creation of Emergency bleeding control from the stubs of tourniquet, pressure point etc.
  • It provides a single place of reference on Wikipedia for the information, rather than two 'competing' pages who repeat a lot of the same information

I would very much appreciate any input you might have to support or oppose my view (hey, i'm not right all the time) on the talk page Talk:Abdominal thrusts

Sorry to bother you again, and i know you commented, but i'm having a few issues with another user reverting the edit, without very much reasoned basis - if you are able to help, the talk page is still at Talk:Abdominal thrusts. Thanks Owain.davies 12:42, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I removed the speedy deletion tag you placed on this article. Despite the odd naming, and the appearance of being a vanity autobiography, it actually is a real article about a real notable person (i.e. a member of a state legislature) and so I think clearly fails the bar for speedy deletion. If you think this article should not be included in Wikipedia, WP:AFD is always there. Thanks! Johnleemk | Talk 15:48, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

While looking at the category for Wikipedians with committed identities, I realized that you are using a SHA-1 hash. While SHA1 hashes are relatively secure, it is possible for them to be hacked. I advise that you try a SHA-512 hash. A calculator for SHA512 can be found here,[[1]]. While not required, this would further add to the seecurity of your account. Deputy Garcia,

You deleted my entry for the Minnesota performer and songwriter Glenn Galen. The article did state that he helped shaped the folk culture in Minneapolis as a principal at the Coffeehouse Extempore', one of the oldest and most established coffeehouses in the country at the time.

I also cited the entry in the Minnesota Public Radio Wiki about this artist, and about the Coffeehouse Extempore'.

I take it that this was the sole judgment of yourself then, Deputy Garcia? Is there any appeal, or are you the final word on this?

I have replied on MusicLover51 user talk page
FYI: I have instituted a prod tag on this article as it fails WP:Music WP:RS, WP:V. The only source is an outside self-written wiki page. Cricket02 18:27, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have replied on Cricket02 user talk page
Hi Dep. No, actually, I'm not sure if there are other reputable sources or not, I haven't looked as it is not up to me to research really, it is up to the author to prove notability. It is only a proposed deletion and not at deletion debate yet, so the author may remove the tag and provide more-reliable third-party sources to establish the subject's notability. But if not, as I'm sure you know, the article will fail to meet the guidelines for inclusion. Thank you for your response, I just wanted to give you a heads-up. I would certainly like to see the article kept. Cricket02 19:08, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About the typos. :)

There's one in the I am treaty... wich actually means you are a treaty. It should be Am I treating... And there is one in rule no:3 Dont worry I'm may be on duty. that means you are may be on duty there two solution to that you can make it Dont worry I may be on duty or Dont worry I'm/I may be on duty wich looks cooler but isn't really in accordance to the english grammar(but who cares).

I can read the code now, weird.
