Removing sourced material[edit]

Hi-- If material is supported by a reliable source, it can't be removed just because you or I disagree with it. If other RSs provide alternative viewpoints, then those viewpoints should be reflected alongside with due weight, according to WP:NPOV. Eperoton (talk) 14:50, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

But material is about Jewish view not Muslim so it cannot be used in Islamic article. Chemia pattinson (talk) 10:33, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia doesn't differentiate academic sources based on religion or ethnicity of the author. Per WP:V and WP:RS, the relevant factors are scholarly reputations of the publisher and the author, which are both quite sufficient here. An attribution may be used per WP:BIASED if the view represents a religious and not academic perspective, but that's not applicable here, and in any case the quote already has a very (perhaps overly) detailed attribution. See also WP:RNPOV for treatment of religious topics. Eperoton (talk) 17:56, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing material about fiqh from Divorce in Islam. PepperBeast (talk) 20:48, 2 February 2017 (UTC) Take it to talk page of that article not here. Chemia pattinson (talk) 12:40, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Divorce in Islam‎. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Eperoton (talk) 14:06, 3 February 2017 (UTC) Write this also on pepper beast talk page. He is edit warring not I.[reply]

Divorce in Islam[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Divorce in Islam, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. PepperBeast (talk) 22:55, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Iddah[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Iddah. PepperBeast (talk) 18:57, 15 February 2017 (UTC) Issue is already resolved. You are just adding unneeded banner.[reply]

Religion in Pakistan[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Religion in Pakistan, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. PepperBeast (talk) 19:00, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed unsourced content with explanation.
Your "explanation" doesn't justify what you are doing. You are removing content that is well-referenced. The lede is not required to contain full citations if the claims made are cited elsewhere on the page. Besides that, if you think the issue is that a citation should appear higher up the page, the appropriate response is *not* to delete content. Now please stop it. PepperBeast (talk) 20:05, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Religion in Pakistan, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. PepperBeast (talk) 00:07, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Last warning[edit]

Next time your remove maintenance template without getting consensus and over opposition from other editors, we'll have to have a discussion about you on the administrator noticeboard. Eperoton (talk) 15:27, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
