August 2022[edit]

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that in this edit to Szczurowa massacre, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 07:12, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I explained why, it is an ethnic slur. [1][2][3] Baro Shero (talk) 08:35, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You also removed a citation for which you did not give an adequate explanation. Per your (now removed) addition to my talk page, please feel free to take it to wp:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents Cheers Adakiko (talk) 09:13, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I see you haven't removed that pejorative from Roma people. Adakiko (talk) 09:15, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The citation there had nothing to do with the article. It was an old article on genetics using the pejorative in parenthesis. The Romani people writes about it being pejorative: "In the English language, the Romani people are widely known by the exonym Gypsies (or Gipsies), which is considered pejorative by Romani people due to its connotations of illegality and irregularity as well as its historical use as a racial slur."
