Anupriya Laxmi Katoch (born 19 May 1995) is an Indian actress/model. Born in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

Early life, education and family[edit]

She was born on 19 May 1995 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh and brought up in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh.

After completing her schooling from Government Girls Senior Secondary School Portmore, Shimla in 2010, she went to RkMV college[1] in Shimla for graduation in 2013 and along with the graduation she also went to Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training[2], Hotel management and Tour & Travelism diploma in 2012 and went to Club Mahindra Holidays for her internship.

Anpuriya Laxmi Katoch was left as an orphan at the age of 2 days and raised by her grand mother Laxmi Katoch retired from Education department of government of Himachal Pradesh, India.

Career[edit]

She started her career being an air hostess in SpiceJet Airline[3] in the year 2015 and participated as a model in an event Miss Glory of Universe "Pageant" which held at Hotel Landmark Shimla, in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, where Hollywood Actress Miss Ocean Hai from China won the Title "Miss Glory of Universe-2015" and Anupriya Laxmi Katoch was the first runner up for the title Miss Glory of Universe-2015 and Anupriya Laxmi Katoch won some other subtitles like Miss Beautiful eyes, Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Beautiful Hair and Best Ramp Model in the same event. She has done anchoring for a singing TV reality show "Himachal Gaurav" in the year 2015.

Appeared in a Himachali song "Jaa Re Baadla"[4] starring Vicky Juneja & Anupriya Katoch and sang by the singer Deepak Jandewa and produced by SMS NIRSU in 2016 under the Project of "BETI BACHAO BETI PADAO" Campaign initiated by SMS NIRSU.

She was honoured with an award "Miss Himalayan Beauty 2018" at the event "Miss Bharat Pageant" when she was the judge of this show in 2018.

Appeared in a short movie named "Kulsoom"[5] which earned an International award and was directed by Bhupendra Deshmukh[6] in 2018.

Appeared in a title song of a punjabi movie "Mitti da Bawa"[7] starring Raza Murad, Nachhatar Gill, Tarsem Paul and Teji Sidhu and produced and directed by K.S. MALHOTRA and sang by the singer Nachhatar Gill under the Production house "Holy Basil Films and Dreamz music".

She made her debut in the bollywood with the movie "Comedy ka Tadka"[8] as a lead actress in the movie in the year 2018, very soon during the production the title of the movie changed to "3 Shyaane"[9] made under the banner of SSS Films International, and the film features Dev Sharma, Anupriya Laxmi Katoch, Nishant Tanwar, Kunal Singh Rajput, Aarti Gupta and Harshika Kashyap with Mukesh Khanna, Zarina Wahab, Tiku Talsania, Vrajesh Hirjee, Himani Shivpuri and Rakesh Bedi in pivotal roles. It is directed by Anees Barudwale and produced by Sanjay Y Suntakar.
