Introduction[edit]

Janison Solutions Pty. Ltd. (also known as Janison) is an educational software development company with a focus on online learning (or e-learning).[3] Janison was founded in Tamworth, New South Wales in 1998.[4] In 2000, Janison moved to Coffs Harbour, Australia where the headquarters is now based.[5]

In 2012, Janison had revenue of $8 million, employed 45 people and has clients in Singapore, Beijing, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, and Dallas in the US.[6]

Accomplishments[edit]

That good stuff includes the Janison Cloud Assessment Framework (CAFe) which provides online exams and assessments using cloud-based hosting technology. Using this system, in 2010 Janison conducted the Essential Secondary Science Assessment (ESSA) program for the NSW Department of Education, which transformed the annual science test for the state’s Year 8 students from a paper-based test to an online multimedia assessment program. - http://www.brw.com.au/p/business/janison_jTMs8TJ3dHl5qahmNsxzSI

Community[edit]

After once being small also, Janison has a soft spot for supporting regional initiatives. "The Short Sharp Film Festival began in 2007 and was warmly embraced by the local community." (http://blogs.janison.com.au/janison-blogs/2012/09/janison-short-sharp-film-festival-the-winners-2012.html) From 2008 to 2013 Janison became a naming rights sponsor for the Janison Short Sharp Film Festival. The festival aims to "provide filmmakers with specialised and ongoing industry education in film production and movie making techniques" (http://www.ourcommunity.com.au/directories/listing?id=39006)
