James VIII, current king of Montano and Fire-Talamh, was born in 1998 as the son of James VI. In 2014, at the young age of 16, he became king after the death of his father. He was determined to continue his father's legacy and make Fire-Talamh and Montano a better place for everyone.
As king, James VIII has continued to implement policies that have led to a strong economy, high human development index, and increased trade. He has also continued to push for Fire-Talamh and Montano to become a green energy nation, investing heavily in renewable energy sources and implementing policies that reduce the country's carbon footprint.
In addition to continuing his father's legacy, James VIII has also made a point to focus on equal rights for all. In December 2022, he announced that the right for LGBTQ individuals to marry would be established in Montano and Fire-Talamh.
