The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish is an American animated television series based on the Nickelodeon animated series The Fairly OddParents (2001–17) created by Butch Hartman. It is the third series in the franchise, after The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder (2022). The series premiered with a sneak peek on May 17, 2024, with the series officially premiering on May 20, 2024.[1][2] It will also premiere internationally on Netflix.[3]

Synopsis[edit]

Premise[edit]

Serving as a continuation of the original series, The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish tells the story of Hazel Wells, a 10-year-old girl who has recently moved to the city of Dimmadelphia because of her father's new job. On top of being in an unfamiliar environment, it’s also the first time she’s been without her older brother, Antony, who left to start college, leaving her feeling lonely and unsure of herself. All that changes when their pink-and-green-haired neighbors next door reveal themselves to be no ordinary neighbors, but fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda, who are unretiring to become Hazel's fairy godparents.[4][5]

Setting[edit]

The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish is set in the fictional city of Dimmadelphia, where the Wells family has moved.

Voice cast[edit]

  • Ashleigh Crystal Hairston as Hazel Wells,[4] an adventurous 10-year-old girl with unique interests and an even wilder imagination. Cosmo and Wanda leave retirement to become her fairy godparents to grant her every wish as a result of her brother Antony leaving for college, making her feel lonely.[6]
  • Daran Norris as:
  • Susanne Blakeslee as Wanda,[4] Hazel's fairy godmother and wife to Cosmo.
  • Jentel Hawkins as Angela Wells,[7] Hazel's mother.
  • Asante Jones as Marcus Wells,[8] Hazel's father.
  • Iris Menas as Winn[9], one of Hazel's friends.
  • Merk Nguyen as Jasmine[10], one of Hazel's friends.
  • Marcus Montgomery as Whispers Fred, he talks in a quiet voice and does ASMR videos.
  • Kyle McCarley as Dev Dimmadome[11], the richest son of Dale Dimmadome, he's also kind of a jerk to Hazel.
  • Carlos Alazraqui as Mr. Guzman[12], Hazel's teacher.
  • Grey Griffin as
    • Bev[13], she does soccer and insists of calling it football. She only says "Football!"
    • Krentz[14], the principal
    • Mrs. Velasquez[15], one of Hazel's teachers.

In addition, Robbie Daymond[16], Eric Bauza[17], and JP Karliak[18] have been cast in undisclosed roles
