Why on earth is there a Royalty and Nobility Barnstar? It's reactionary, elitist, and adds to the sociological phenomemon whereby the doings of the members are seen of more import and significance than other members of society. Note the ostentation design of this Barnstar. Centrepull (talk) 08:13, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since this has gone unaddressed for so long: the barnstar is for work on royalty & nobility-related articles. It has nothing to do with any endorsement or lack thereof for the article subjects. Indeed, many of the more prominent editors on royalty/nobility articles are staunch republicans (in the monarchy-vs-republic sense, not the American sense). New image[edit]

I created a new image which is a bit more in-line with other barnstars. What does everyone think? Prince of Canada t | c 08:03, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
