African Footballer of the Year and Women's Footballer of the Year awards[edit]
The template shortened the BBC African Footballer of the Year and BBC Women's Footballer of the Year simply to "African" and "Women's". However I have added footballer to these as the template is not just about football awards and it as it stood it could be assumed that these awards were awarded to the best African sportsperson and the best female sports person.
