Template:Citations broken from PEIS limit/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Citations broken from PEIS limit.
It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template should be used to tag pages that exceed the page size limit. Such articles should be reduced to a size below this limit as soon as possible, as this will cause templates at the bottom of the page (typically references) to appear only as a link to a template. By default, the first parameter is set to be the section of the talk page discussing the issue.

Usage[edit]

{{Citations broken from PEIS limit|date=May 2024}}

|1= or |section= should be the section of the talk page where discussion is taking place
|2= replaces "talk page"
|date= should be set to the month and year the template was applied

When using this template, consider replacing {{reflist}} in the article with <references />, which can often allow at least some of the references to appear.
