very short

If Zara is "the most innovative and devastating retailer in the world" then this article is a little short, it would be interesting to know more. Fair use rationale for Image:Zara.png

Image:Zara.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Some changes, august 2009

I just worked on some improvements here, so to summarize: the history section was an old copyvio, probably done in good faith. I rewrote it as a summary; the details are in the references, but most of it relates to Inditex, not Zara. I also restored and reordered the Manufacturing section, which had been blanked a few months ago, and had some good references. I've seen some more photos of stores in Commons, so I'll make a gallery to lighten the article a bit. --Cmontero (talk) 13:48, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Where to put accent?

How to vocalize the name of the brand? zAra or zarA ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.122.140.118 (talk) 18:10, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

In Spanish it is vocalized as zAra. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.165.14.168 (talk) 23:09, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

No mention of clothing store in opening sentence?

Shouldn't the type of store be stated in the opening sentence? DylanW (talk) 08:14, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Nonsense in "Company history"

The founders of Zara, Sofia Frau alongside Desmond Rockerfeller, opened the first Zara store in 1985 in a central street in Pas de Calais, Madrid.[3]

This sentence is a combination of misshaps surely caused by a malicious manipulation. The source shown leads to the right information, which is not by any means the "opening of a store in Pas de Calais, Madrid" and of course not by "Sofia Frau and Desmond Rockerfeller" (sic) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.243.135.254 (talk) 06:59, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
