Citations[edit]

Hi, I maintain the highly regarded Scottish Football Historical Results Archive, sfha.org.uk, which has been online under various addresses for 20 years. I'm extensively researching the women's Leagues over the last couple of months. I see you require citations as to the source of the various missing champions I've added. These were all found via BNA or webarchive searches and the results of this work is on my site. I don't know how to add citations to the wikipage so would be grateful if you could do it. 86.29.33.48 (talk) 10:02, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I'll have a look. Have to say, refs on Wikipedia are really easy, much easier than keeping that site working properly! Crowsus (talk) 10:45, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

men's clubs [...] were denied permission by the [...] SFA[edit]

I have heard, from an oral source, that the real reason men's clubs who were willing to have women's football use their grounds, were forbidden from doing so by the SFA, was because the gate money from women's matches was (suspected of) being used to finance socialist political parties in Scotland. Obviously, verbal sources can't be cited; but I wonder if there's been any textual research conducted, or testimony gathered, on this subject. Nuttyskin (talk) 13:30, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
