Hickie's mother[edit]

Lucila Larios, like all her brothers and sisters, was born in Gibraltar. Her father, the Riojan-born Gibraltar-based Andalusian tycoon Pablo Eustaquio Larios, had Bristish nationality since the 1810s. He was born in Laguna de Cameros, currently La Rioja (before 1833 half of La Rioja belonged to Burgos and the other half to Soria, Castilian provinces).
