February 2011[edit]

  • Copy edits to lead: diff I spelled out the word "transliteration" as people could assume it is an abbreviation for "translation." There's no need to abbreviate stuff as we have no space restrictions. "Fourth-holiest" needs a hyphen as the phrase is being used as an adjective. I added a link to the Siege of Damascus and a date so those unfamiliar with the history could readily place events in the correct era. I changed the positioning of the link to John the Baptist's article to the first mention. Items should be linked once in the lead and once in the body of the article, the first time they appear. I streamlined the wording of the last sentence of the second paragraph. --Diannaa (Talk) 19:24, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Has there been any progress on this, or was this abandoned? Moughera (talk) 21:46, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
