June 2006[edit]

Since there is a significant trivia back-end to songs on the Simpsons, surely the two most popular original songs (See My Vest, Kids Vs Adults, arguably) should be up in all their lyrical glory: Guest 23 June 2006

Maybe it should be, but apparently the copyright rules for wikipedia are 'no full lyrics'. TheHYPO 05:37, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
PS: Kids vs. Adults? How is that your second most popular song? Over the Planet of the Apes Musical numbers? Who needs the Kwik-E-Mart? Springfield-Springfield? Senior Burns? Talkin Softball? Stonecutters theme? Baby on Board? Monorail? Need I Go On? TheHYPO 05:40, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I took this out of the article in line with the taking out of lyrics and animal list, but if someone things it deserves to be a trivia note or something, they can put it back: TheHYPO 20:21, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Discrepancies -

  • Burns says the alternative to gophers for his loafers (shoes) would have been to skin his chauffers, but we only ever see Burns being driven around by himself or by Smithers.
  • Burns sings proudly of his unique wardrobe - and there appear to be many more garments in the background which do not make it to the song - but he inevitably only wears the same grey-blue suit. This does not preclude him wearing the grizzly bear underwear, but what of the vest which is his favourite?

can we please have the lyrics of the song : See my vest! on this page. I dont feel like the page is complete without the song. Thanks

Please sign your comments with four tildes ~~~~. And there was a full separate article on the song, but it was deleted and the lyrics are not reproduced here both for the same reason - copyright violation. Darcyj 13:27, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I always wondered - whatever happened to She's The Fastest? 58.167.40.171 12:27, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

She was killed in a freak ice cream accident... Dude, it's a cartoon... like virtually every episode, everything returns to the status quo and the dogs haven't been written in since. TheHYPO 08:17, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
