Disambiguation notice[edit]

Regarding this disambiguation notice added to the top hat:

I removed it for these reasons:

  1. We generally only use disambig notices when there is an existing page to disambig. There is no page for Memoirs of a Superfluous Man (except now there is a redirect, see below).
  2. There are actually many works that use "Superfluous Man" in the title. It just so happens the one of this article was the first, all later ones are basically making some sort of reference to this work, and the concept of a Superfluous Man, which this novel first coined. Superfluous Man lists some, but if we're going to start disambigations on top hats, since there are multiple ones, the way to do it is set up a superfluous man (disambiguation) page and start listing them there.
  3. don't use external links in disambig notices.

I went ahead and created a redirect for Memoirs of a Superfluous Man to point to Albert Jay Nock's page. If you want to include the external link to the PDF, include it on Nock's page (if not already), and/or create a new article for Memoirs of a Superfluous Man, if it's considered notable enough for a Wikipedia article.
