  • ... that street artist TVBoy, known for his murals of footballers in Barcelona (example pictured), was asked to paint uplifting art in regions of Kyiv ahead of the one-year anniversary of the 2022 Russian invasion?

    • Comment: Various sources in article, most in Catalan. I welcome other hook suggestions! The only image currently on Commons of either topic mentioned in the hook is the Putellas one - it does show a little bit of a Ukraine one next to it; that might be appropriate so I've included it in the nom. It might also be a nice image to feature on MP during March, as Women's History Month.

  • Hi Kingsif (talk), review follows: article created 4 February and exceeds minimum length; article is well written; I tagged one exhibition for citation; I didn't spot any overly close paraphrasing of the sources, though many are in languages I cannot read (and haven't checked); cold you confirm which part of the cited article supports the "uplifting" (as per hook) or "art to bring positivity" (as per article), it wasn't obvious to me from the Google translation, the rest of the hook checks out. Image is good and looks to be OK in Spain as per Commons:Freedom of panorama (though I am not an expert). A QPQ has been carried out - Dumelow (talk) 15:11, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Dumelow: I'm still busy, remind me to get to this if I leave it too long, hopefully I won't. Kingsif (talk) 13:35, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Kingsif, just a gentle reminder as it's been a week. No rush if you're still busy though, happy to wait a bit - Dumelow (talk) 07:09, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the reminder, I should be either less busy or more busy soon, I can probably go through this tonight. Kingsif (talk) 21:48, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Dumelow: The part you're after for the ref "Aquests són els grafitis que TVBoy ha pintat a Ucraïna" (in Catalan) is in the second paragraph. Translation: "TVBoy has taken advantage of the visit to paint on the walls of the buildings several works that reflect his point of view on the situation happening to Ukraine and his hope that the war conflict will end very soon." Perhaps "art to bring hope" (instead of "positivity") could be used in the article if you think it's a generous descriptor. Gallery citation has been added. Thanks Kingsif, so was he invited to Kyiv to paint or for some other reason? The "taken advantage" part seems like the latter whilst we are saying he was "asked to paint uplifting art". Perhaps a better phrasing would be the following? - Dumelow (talk) 07:35, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

*@Dumelow: Alt1 looks good to me. I don't think it changes Alt0 enough to need another review, but up to you. Kingsif (talk) 22:17, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. Marking ALT1 as approved with AGF on foreign language source- Dumelow (talk) 11:26, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
