just some clarifying points on the references to alan moore; for starters, richey was a bit of a comics geek. secondly, watchmen has a quote from poplar culture or philosophy for every chapter (like generation terrorists for each song), and there's some overlap, for example they both quote nietzsche, william s. burroughs is acknowledged as an influence.

for the parts in the video, there's the being splashed in the eye (which i though was meant to be a cum-shot or something until i put two and two together) which is a reccuring theme, starting from the iconic blood-splattered smiley face and reoccurring most prominently in attacks to The Comedian's face

More overt is the multicoloured octopus-type creature at the end. If you haven't read it, it's a massive spoiler, but you can look if you want to
