Treasonous La Salle?[edit]

I was reading up on this siege and I saw this line “the Ottomans managed to overcome them, largely through the treasonous assistance of the French colonel La Salle.” After reading this I was intrigued and wanted to learn more about this ‘La Salle’ but I found no mention of a French Colonel at Nauplia by the name of La Salle. I found there was a French military engineer there by the name of La Salle but I have no idea as to where he treasonously assisted the Ottomans. Would be great to know where to find this info.
