Unusual tone[edit]

The “Writing Style” subsection is written in a tone inconsistent with that of most articles. It may be that the writer is not a native English speaker, or a fan, but the end result is that it reads more like a publishing house’s marketing promotion rather than an encyclopedia entry, as well as lacking citations on the several claims made regarding Yarjanian‘s private thoughts.

For example:

“His works give a clear image of the spirit that existed at the time in the minds of many of the Armenian populace.”

“He was convinced that the road to salvation for his people was through armed struggle.”

Which these claims (et al) may be true, and even likely given the author’s subjects, no citations are provided, and it is inappropriately speculative for a Wikipedia article. Given that the current Turkish government maintains its non-acknowledgement of the Armenian Genocide, it is all the more necessary to maintain Wikipedia’s standard of unbiased and well-cited descriptions regarding people and events involved in that nightmare, to avoid providing other Genocide deniers with the opportunity to accuse us of our own bias towards history.
