Cleanup[edit]

I've done a quick cleanup, which involved removing the extra images and "stubifing" the content. While I'm sure that the original material was accurate, the nature of this material (especially as it concerns biographies of living people, meant that I wasn't uncomfortable letting it sit until sources could turn up. However, I am convinced of the notability of the subject, and hopefully someone else will be able to replace what I had to remove. The images were killed at the moment as the copyright status on them seemed uncertain, and is worth following up - plus I can see two or three being useful, but there were more than a tad too many. :) Again, hopefully someone can return them later, as deemed appropriate. - Bilby (talk) 16:49, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

If these people are of such major importance in Iran, why do they not have a article on the Parsi wikipedia? This makes no sense to me, please explain? Maybe it's creatorn should request an article in Parsi wiki to be created by him or some Iranian users. J.B. (talk) 12:09, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think this could be a hoax? I have almost no knowledge of pre-revolutionary Iran so I have no idea. Do you have more knowledge? (I simply took the references supplied - two books, and an article in a respected newspaper - at face value.)--A bit iffy (talk) 13:41, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The reference (Metal Men) seems to be the only source on the internet which refers to a "Senator Ali Rezai"; however, it is quoted in a U.S. House of Representatives report. Rmhermen (talk) 13:51, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, what I meant to say was that I found it highly suspicious such a "highly important" pre-Pahlavi Iranian family was on here yet not on the Parsi language wikipedia. I think it is not of such high importance at all then. Also, when it has so few links and is not well referenced, yes, it might well be a hoax. Let us investigate it further before taking to drastic conclusions though. J.B. (talk) 12:53, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
