atheism

It is imho remarkable though unsurprising that the second single biggest group (none of the above) is mentioned with precisely zero words. Why is there no discussion of the Atheist community that is especially growing among young people and in the cities and has been already before the Sandinista revolution (in fact Mr. Ortega started out as an atheist but entered into a pact with his erstwhile enemy Miguel Obando y Bravo, in order to gain some political points) Unfortunately the young generation born after 1990 is also largely apolitical or apathetic towards politics; otherwise the continuous abuse of Nicaragua's public sphere by "men (hardly ever women) of god" would be met with harsh criticism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.30.210.129 (talk) 00:45, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

Statistics

I note the statistics table source states that "protestantes" used in the 1950/1963 did not distinguish between denominations but the later census do. In other words "protestantes" included "Evangélica" as well as "Morava" and "Testigos de Jehová". We also have the problem that Spanish Evangélica does not map directly to American Evangelical christians but usually includes mainline Protestants. In fact in a later chart of the same source Protestante and Evangélica are treated as equivalent. --Erp (talk) 02:14, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
