The page is a bit outdated now. From the web page on the external links, we can see that the following paragraph should be changed.

Although the artefacts from the site are of no earlier than Chalcolithic age, some researchers believe that the site may have already in use as a source of flint during the middle of the Neolithic by people of the Vinča culture.[1] This is based on initial comparisons of Neolithic chipped stone artifacts to the geological material at Piatra Tomii. This theory has not yet been confirmed by the archaeological record. It is possible that the material used during the Neolithic period may have come from another flint source very near to but not at Piatra Tomii itself.

As the external link and recent publications (I'll check on those for references) point out there have recently been found remains of earlier cultures at this site. I'll update the page.
