The last line of the International Career section reads: "On October 10, 2017, Gonzalez scored an own goal that contributed to the United States' exit from the 2018 World Cup." This is vague and ultimately untrue as the United States never qualified for the 2018 World Cup AND the World Cup has not taken place yet, therefore we cannot "exit" the tournament. Instead of "Gonzalez scored an own goal that contributed to the United States' exit from the 2018 World Cup." I suggest: "On October 10, 2017, Gonzalez scored an own goal that contributed to the United States' failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup." 108.80.8.202 (talk) 07:38, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
