Number of enlistees[edit]

I find it highly unlikely that a local militia enlisted so many men. Please specify the source of your information.--equitor 05:26, July 27, 2005 (UTC)

3,500 is hardly an unbelievably high number for the personal army of one of the most powerful Maronites in Lebanon (not to mention President).

Huh?[edit]

I'm more concerned about this addition: "Thereafter the Marada were the major force against the confessional division of Lebanon. They were known for giving a great example of Muslim-Christian conviviality, a model always fought by major country who build their foreign policies on creating chaos." Grammar aside, what is the source for this?

anonymous editor[edit]

you're inserting biased, unsourced and ungrammatical changes to this article: most importantly unsourced. either discuss your changes here, or on Talk:Lebanese Forces. as i've told you, i'm going to revert this until you provide a source or a good rationale for what you're writing. these new edits need a language check and removal of bias, although it's better than before. the claim that the marada brigades remain intact since the early 80s definitely needs a source, and so do some other things too. also, please use the "show preview" button instead of "save page" when editing. WikiSyria????[edit]

I have removed the WikiSyria banner, as there is no link between the current content and Syria (as a country) there might be some political alliance, but no geographical links (unless all of the Lebanese articles would be enlisted under the WikiSyria project too.) Al-Marada unofficial Site?[edit]

Is this a serious article or a joke? This page should be red marked as biased! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.9.121.93 (talk) 11:15, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

POV[edit]

This page needs serious rewriting. This article is one of the worst violations of neutrality one can come with and in its present status, needs a serious rewriting and reorganization from a neutral standpoint werldwayd (talk) 16:45, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Zgharta Liberation Army?[edit]

Shouldn't' this be merged with Zgharta Liberation Army? I don't see any difference between the two. FunkMonk (talk) 15:16, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The Zgharta Liberation Army has been renamed to the Marada Movement — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.57.217.153 (talk) 12:58, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
