Really???[edit]

When I first came across this article I guessed the name was a misspelling of "Macedon". Anyway I checked the sources provided and they check out. I still think this is a mistake, not in the article title, but by Wiliam Hazlitt's printer. Hazlitt's printer made a mistake, and once the term "Macednon" found its way into Hazlitt's book, it was picked up and referred to in the Rev. J.A. Cramer's book, and on that basis, found its way into Wikipedia. It is notable that no other work since Cramer seems to refer to it; no contemporary writers use it. I think everyone else has come to the conclusion it's a mistake. Still, it's a properly referenced mistake, so an interesting article nevertheless.Mccapra (talk) 09:08, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
