There are no ski areas in Brazil. The southest and highest places have at most a few inches of snow every winter, just good for tourist watch. Just to make it clear, the highest point in the south region has ab out 1800m of altitude, which is just not enough to maintain low temperatures for a long period of time. Usually a few hours later the snow is all melted because the average temperature will end up rising. I am a southern region inhabitant living at reasonable altitude (900m) and I know what I am talking about.
