The 100Kb recommendation applies to prose only, not to lists, tables, image descriptions, refs/notes, etc. The prose measures as just over 1Kb, that being the lead, meaning it isn't a major concern. If you split up a table too much, it becomes hard to maintain all the related "parts":

See this article Battle of Nancy (1944), fought by the 3rd Army to encircle Nancy and force its surrender. This article also mentions an earlier Battle of Nancy in 1471, at which Charles the Bold, the Duke of Burgundy was killed.47.215.180.7 (talk) 17:42, 30 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
