Why citations?[edit]

list format[edit]

Dates[edit]

Similar lists on other topics, such as List of British scientists, show dates of birth and death. I think this is very useful, necessary even, so that it's immediately obvious if one is dealing with someone alive today or someone who died in the reign of Louis XIV. For the moment I'm only adding dates for scientists I'm familiar with. Athel cb (talk) 16:49, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
