Chervonohvardiiske → Krynychanske – Per user Dantheanimator's Google Scholar research in Talk:Kirovske, Donetsk Oblast#Requested move 25 October 2023, it was shown that "Chervonohvardiiske" was no more common than "Krynychanske" in sources. This has been further backed up in my own research - using Google [1], I found exactly zero human-written reliable sources other than Wikipedia referring to the settlement by its old name. When I did the same search with "Krynychanske" [2], I got a few results, mainly from Ukrainian military sources and international organizations. This is even without filtering by date to rule out sources published before the settlement was renamed. Given this data, we can either rule that there is no WP:COMMONNAME, or that the common name is "Krynychanske".

In either case, we should move the article to Krynychanske. Assuming the lack of a common name, we should follow WP:UAPLACE and use the name provided by the Ukrainian government, which has internationally recognized sovereignty over Luhansk Oblast. "Krasnohvardeisk"[edit]

This source says "Krasnohvardeisk" was the name of this town from 1953 to 1965. I can't tell, is this a typo? I don't speak Ukrainian, but this doesn't really look like a valid Ukrainian placename to me, and the Russian version with the "skoye" ending seems to suggest the actual name is "Krasnohvardeiske".
