Mix-up[edit]

There is some complete mix-up. Bangura was a military who took over from the military rule of Andrew Terence Juxon-Smith. He was never Governor-General, as those were at that time place in SL by the colonial force from Britain. He was Chairmen of the National Reform Council, just like Juxon-Smith and Ambrose Genda before him. He was then ruled-out by military man Patrick Conteh, who indeed gave the power back to the legal administration under Siaka Stevens. So basically Conteh and Bangura are mixed up. --Chtrede (talk) 08:31, 5 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also wasn't Bangura the leader of the 1971 coup? 128.12.252.47 (talk) 00:02, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Death date and cleanup of article[edit]

I have corrected the article. He did not die on 29 March 1970. I can't find an exact death date despite researching, all I can find is that he was executed "swiftly" following his attempted coup against Stevens on 24 March 1971 (The timing seems correct for the death date to be off by exactly one year but I'm going to leave it at just 1971 without a reliable death date source). I have also removed seemingly incorrect information and replaced it with what reliable sources say. MarkiPoli (talk) 17:13, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
