quibbles[edit]

Irina (Cyrillic: Ирина, Iryna is a variant of Irene, being a Cyrillic-transliterated Eastern Orthodox feminine given name of Greek origin, and the variant adopted by most followers of the Eastern Orthodox Church. The name Irina is derived from the ancient Greek goddess of peaceful life Eirene. In Ancient Greek εἰρήνη means peace. It has namesakes.

Several things here that I'd question and/or change.

  • The first parenthesis is not closed; I'm guessing that ')' should replace the first comma.
  • What languages use Iryna, and why is its Cyrillic spelling not shown?
  • What, if anything, does the last sentence mean?
