What is it???[edit]

The article doesn't give any info on what kind of a unit it is! Is it infantry or cavalry or what? Just saying it was an elite unit is not enough is it? 202.124.190.163 (talk) 11:38, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Alexiad[edit]

The Immortals are spoken of by Anna Komnene in the Alexiad.
