Hey guys! Wow, it's great to see so much enthusiasm on Illnois wine after I posted the major addiiton! Anyways, one important discrepancy I've seen is the map showing where wine is grown. It is near impossible, and (for some areas) foolish to grow wine in all areas of Illinois. Whoever uploaded that image should edit it to display only the viticulturally productive areas, and not just a map of where Illinois is! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jehan60188 (talkcontribs) 15:58, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Illinois wine - without exception - is vile, undrinkable, and execrable. The whites taste like sweet, cloying cough syrup, with a nasty metallic twange. The reds are indescribable. How anyone could drink them is unimaginable. There are some sweet, but charming, fruit wines produced in the state, but if someone offers you a bottle made from grapes, run for the Shawnee Hills! 98.215.201.109 (talk) 20:27, 2 August 2009 (UTC)daver852[reply]
